A letter to the app FaceTime

Dear FaceTime,

I appreciate you in this season of my life. As God grows Noah and me closer through being apart we are being prepared to one day be together. I am thankful for the option of calling him and seeing his face and hearing his voice. It is not the same as being with him, but ungratefulness will steal your joy in what you have. So, if you, FaceTime, are all I have at the moment I will be grateful.

A letter to Noah's Senior Prom

Dear Prom,

You were only special because of Noah. It's always fun to get dressed up and spend a night with the love of my life. I am thankful we know how to have genuine fun because you alone are just silly. People go to you, prom, long enough to hear the king and queen announced. After that they, to say it nicely, go and do whatever they feel is enjoyable on your night. I'll have to say, it meant a lot to take pictures in one of our favorite spots in Augusta. I really enjoyed Waffle House at one in the morning more than Carrabbas at six thirty in the evening. There is something special about seeing Noah that late when we are dating. I mean come on...how often do I get to see him at one in the morning? Thanks Prom. After we went to your dance we went bowling with some friends.I used to hate bowling because I am competitive and hate to lose. Thanks to Noah my bowling skills have improved. It was almost relaxing to be completely exhausted and give my best efforts to to bowl a strike--then lay my head on Noah's chest while I waited for my next turn. When it comes to bowling alleys, you just have to forget that hundreds of other people wore the shoes you have on, spicy music is playing, and the food is too expensive. You have to make it like your own bowling alley. I picture it like it's just Noah and I, the pro bowling team, having the most amazing bowling time ever. Sorry prom, the dance was fun but I think Waffle House and Brunswick got ya.

A letter to CBC's DNOW 2018

Dear DNOW,

Wow! So much happened over this past weekend. All glory to God and all thanks to all of my fellow believers. It's incredible the things that can happen when God's people are willing to do what God calls them to in the every moment, and are willing to serve. It was a blessing to be put in a home with the wild 7th grade girls, serve, love, and learn. I am thankful for how God grew me through you and the ministry of Curtis. There were times where peoples heads had peanut butter on them and then times when we could gather and eat. There were times where we all sang in unison and praised God's beautiful name, and there were time where we gathered in prayer. There were times that we served around the community, and there were times where we stayed up all night. The word was preached and the theme of living UPSIDE DOWN was brought to life. Christ brings life and you, DNOW 2018, will be a living spiritual marker forever.

SNOW

Dear home town Augusta,

Thankful for the snow flurries today, but not as thankful that those flurries didn't stick to our warm ground. It's okay, I try and be a glass half full kind of girl: "OMG IT SNOWED TODAY YAY WHOOP WHOOP HOLLA!" As I walked out of bio class the white fluff stuck to my hair. The flakes were pretty and ironically, we had just learned about some properties of water in class. "Be careful out in that blizzard," remarked Dr. Cromer as we walked out. I know we never get much snow here, but any snow is nice.

On a side note, more snow soon please.

Sincerely,

Hannah Sterling

A Letter to MY LOVE

Dear Noah,

Each and everyday I thank God for you. Lately, I have discovered that I am not very good at video games; but I do like Battle Front. May the force be with you. Lol. Love you I do, kiss you I will. This week has been long already and it is only Tuesday. If I was with you all day everyday of the week I would wish it were still Monday.

Love,

Han

A Letter to the Manna Blog

Dear New blog,

Wow, super fun. I am so excited to have you as my new blog. An area where I can plop down my ideas whenever it feels necessary. Hopefully this will go well. There is soon to be an abundance of manna, letters, art, and more. This is my first letter. Of course, I am writing to you, a non-living, non-responsive blog, but hopefully these ideas that I plop down will help you come to life.

On a side note I would like to add a request: No technical difficulties please.

Sincerely,

Hannah Sterling
